How to Find the First Article in Ithaka

The tab at the top of the blog showing First Articles will display the content you see below.

No. 1: Ithaka: Searching for Ithaka - Introduction

No. 2: Ithaka: "Ithaca" by Constantine P. Cavafy

Those articles will take you to November, 2012, and then the saga begans. You're on the West coast of the Peloponnese, the lower part of Greece, and you're about five hours from Athens in a rural area near a small town which might have been occupied by ghosts until the cruise ships came to dock. Colors would bloom everywhere as after a Spring rain in the desolate.  You're just about dead broke but life is a wonderland in every direction.

It's been a circuitous travel to get from there and finally here to Fort Worth, TX, but it was quite the adventure while I was doing it and I hope you enjoy the journey.

I was deeply touched just now by a question of how to get back to the start to read it all since the thought of doing that hadn't really occurred to me. I'm most appreciative of such interest particularly at a special time.

Thank you, John Jainschigg.
