Only Five Thousand and Change to Hit a Million

It's become a joint mission with Seraphin to put Ithaka over the top with a million reads.  I've written previously on the meaning of achieving this noble goal but the thing which stands throughout is the challenge and Seraphin has joined with the campaign to break that wall down.

Almost all of the articles today have been boomers and there's nothing extolling the marvels of the political cases prevailing in a tremendously-confused and heavily-jaded world.  Ithaka has often assailed the absurdity of a system driven by soundbites, salacious sophistry, and enough money to build another Panama Canal.  Those types of articles are often boomers as well since many people identify with that absurdity.

We talked of that today a little and the beauty part is Tinkerbell and Seraphin see that absurdity as well.  When absurdity becomes the New Frame of Reference, we need Dr Quackenbush.

Doctor Quackenbush explaining to his patient her problem is horsefeathers while she protests along with a great volley of accompanying sneezes.

Zen Yogi:  that's not Groucho!

Nope, he's not and it's great you're paying attention, mate.

Ref:  multiple movies from the Marx Brothers.

Zen Yogi:  The Moody Blues told us it was all about ten billion butterfly sneezes

Right and they certainly did.  They saw it or at least heard it in the 60s.

Zen Yogi:  I made that up about being the one who let out the stadium whistle which stopped for a time their concert in Louisville, Silas

I know, Yogi, but others were not so sure so maybe tell them again, ok?

Zen Yogi:  sure, Silas.  I didn't fuckin' do it, alright?

You make it so eloquently and succinctly clear, my furry buddy.

On departure this last afternoon, Seraphin said there's no way in hell he would be getting up at three in the morning again so we know the Prince does love his sleep.  It's now almost five in the morning so I believe I shall try to achieve that state as well so long as the glorious darkness permits it.  (sneeze)
