Pilgrimage Continued

It was a real blast today getting to finally reconnect in person with the Dream God Silas. The trip went pleasantly to get here, the great winged beheamoth behaved spledidly and even allowed for a nap. Even got here 45 minutes earlier than scheduled.

The visits so far have been amazing. Silas' Blotto updates served as good preparation in coming as, due to my time doing medical work I was preparring for alot worse than what greeted us. It was a surprise which was very happy.

I dont mean to downsize anything on Silas end. He is a Fraser through and through and his desire to shield his visitors from as much as possible is pure.

For my part i couldnt see any less of a spark from the Dream God. Thinner, less stamina but that bright gleam that lights the Ithakan way for now and always has not dimmed.

Above and beyond any expectations, Silas continues to surprise. It was no small feat i didnt cry right then and there when Silas nonchalantly informs me "to please pack up the Galaxy guitar."  Seeing this as perhaps a symbolic closing of the era as only and heir may do, i found the proper case, with a bit of searching and laid that gorgeous axe in her case, closed her up and stand up only to hear, "cuz its going with you."

The honor and love of being trusted with the one true "relic" of Ithaka

Harley: that makes it sound old.

It does doesnt it, but its a fitting title for an item thats been in Ithaka since the beginning and absolutely represents Dream Big, because we have and i wont ever stop.

Harley: why not National Treasure?

Its that too my dear Harls, and will continue to be. But either way I was absolutely floored and surprised by the gift and can never fully express nust how much it means to me. The Galaxy Guitar is and has always been so much more than just a wicked awesome guitar. It is the embodiment of dream big. Now ill have to make a new top hat to match her splendor.

Raven: Why is that Phin?

Simple my dear old feathered buddy, very simple. As i was once told. We must not tarnish our name, as it was given us by our forefathers, and we must not dishonor it because it is borrowed from our descendants.

And while I cant think of a Fraser who really lives to such an odd idea, seeing as we are each our own and independant person and live our lives to the fullest we see fit, and its not for one person to tell another how to live, however, with our continuance of the Ithakan Kingdom it is only right that we add our bit of flare and love to the mix before one day passing it on once more.

More on the continued adventure later...
