In Case You're Wondering What's Become of Seraphin

There's a fundamental difference in situations since Seraphin (gasp) actually has a life and it's not at all cool to tell you what's in it when he can do that for himself with time.  For my part, this is my life along with periodically watching old sci-fi movies (e.g. "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" - 1964).

That's not a lament since it's exceptional to be able to fuck about with no greater responsibility than coming up with something insanely pithy for Ithaka.  Maybe it's hard to believe but that's a pure luxury for me.  I see you have Ithaka down to two thousand and change to Win a Million so that makes an exciting incentive as well.

Seraphin, you know there's more kit you need to get the Galaxy Guitar really smokin' like a small amp, etc.  Something which is also always needed is a pile of cables and almost all of them are thirty feet for stage.  The thing you'll find with cables is you always need just one more to get things working.

The damn things are expensive and can easily go forty bucks a pop for good ones (i.e. well-shielded, etc) so that gets me thinking to gather up cables which aren't being used here to see about sending them your way.  It may not be feasible to do it but keeping an excess of cables about is useless so there's reason.

You mentioned a keyboard last time and that's interesting since such devices often use a different type of cable.  The ones used for the Galaxy Guitar and the other bits is 1/4" but keyboards often use XLR and the better ones always do.  The same is true with microphones since they almost always use XLR cables.  After that you've got MIDI cables for connecting synths so there's another collection.

You will love cables and you need ankle sensors with them so you can feel it when they climb up your foot so you will drag it and then it can pull your precious devices into immediate ruin.  Cables are evil.

I'm not sure what else you need after that except a Mel Bay chord book so you can learn those chords, just like Guitar George.

Zen Yogi: how about a Lava Lamp?

Maybe not such a good idea, Yogi.

Also, Seraphin, it's not likely you will pump out articles at the pace I've been writing them since there won't be time but you have the Grand Power now so you can invite additional authors.  There's a difference in whether the invitation goes out to an Author or an Admin since only the most intimate trustee should ever be an Admin.

There's a strong risk of your style getting muddy that way so it will need a bit of thought to find whether you think it's worthwhile.

Zen Yogi:  are you mothering now, Silas?

Not yet, Yogi, but it's likely damn close.

Zen Yogi:  you're the one going on frequently about underestimating the intelligence of kids

That's true, Yogi, but I'm relatively sure I'm not doing that and there's one more thing since Seraphin isn't a kid.  He's a Man Thing now.

Zen Yogi:  and he's the Heir Apparent by Birth and Bloodright

Quite so, Yogi.
