Scores of people walk on the sand of Hillsborough Bay along Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa on Sept. 9. As Hurricane Irma approached, the water temporarily receded to an extreme level allowing people to walk on what used to be the waters of Tampa Bay. Tampa police later asked people to leave for their safety.

It's hard to believe this could happen since I've been sailing on Tampa Bay with Tinkerbell and her family. There's the proof it.
Zen Yogi: don't they know that water will likely come back soon and extremely fast?
That wasn't so clever but I didn't hear of any tragedies in that way so cops must have got the word to them.
Zen Yogi: could you have resisted the temptation?
Probably not, mate (larfs).
Tinkerbell doesn't live in Florida anymore and I'm sure she would have been sensible enough to stay on the high ground but I'm still damn glad she wasn't there for Hurricane Irma.
Consequently, she will be able to visit here tomorrow and I'm so immensely tickled over that.

You may find the article interesting since the phenomenon is extremely rare but this was not the first time it has happened.
