The Galaxy Guitar Flies Now to a New Galaxy in a New Dimension #Blotto

Seraphin as the Heir Apparent to Ithaka is also the natural heir to the Galaxy Guitar and so she takes flight one more time to dimensions I can only imagine.

Tinkerbell saw right away, oh, it twinkles.  That's not been so easy to capture in film but she saw it as soon as she laid her eyes on it and Mystery Lady came up with the idea for that so there's a good story in how it happened when the Pilgrims return.  The short version is that I cringed while Mystery Lady placed and cemented the jewels on it and that was trust all the way out to when the world began.  There are some shining moments which come.

Yes, Yogi, Seraphin knows all about detuning the strings before flying so she is safe and ready for the checked luggage hold (where it gets extremely cold so this is important).  He checked before putting her in the case so I'm positive all is good.  Note:  one more for emphasis since the neck can be damaged or broken if the strings are not detuned.  It's more likely for international or especially long flights but never take the risk.

Zen Yogi:  was he surprised?

You know, mate, I don't know if I could have surprised him more if I had told him I'm pregnant.

Zen Yogi:  does it hurt to see her go?

Only like the first man who ever discovered how much it really hurts to deliver a baby ... but it wouldn't be so much a gift if it didn't.  I'm honored that he will carry it forward.

Zen Yogi:  and you say you aren't pregnant?

Lose that one, mate, as the joke had short legs to start.

There's more required kit for her to truly be the Galaxy Guitar so there's the GT-100 stompbox which is the sound generator and the Silas patches on that one are the only way any guitar will ever sound like this one.  Those patches may not be the best but they're definitely Silas.

While not absolutely required, the RC-50 looper is the device which permits taking music into another world since it can record some segment of the play in real time so it can be immediately recalled as backing music for whatever you will play on top of it.  All of that is dynamic and it's live so I loved the concept from when I first tangled with it.

Maybe the Galaxy Guitar is the heart of it all and the stompboxes are the brains so that's been the style of it for at least ten years.

Zen Yogi:  that's some hefty kit

She's a hefty guitar, mate.  Doc plays so he knew immediately she doesn't weigh-in like a battleship as will a Les Paul but she's also not a guitar anyone can throw around like a Stratocaster because those are much lighter.  I did like sometimes to lift her up high while also hanging onto the twang bar because that could bring the most maniacal vibe but too much of that will get the wings too tuckered to fly home.

Zen Yogi:  don't those patches constrain him to use only your sounds?

Not at all since I used three to six of them and the device is capable of one hundred.

For the moment, the Pilgrims have taken off since there was great hunger for Eggs Benedict and I wear out quickly so they will return in a few hours since they will also be able to enter their rooms at their hotel and they need to get that sorted.

It's been a delight and it will continue.  There are more surprises to report but that was a big one and I'm a little tuckered just now.  More to come.
