"Celebration of Circe Broom" - Alan Fraser (audio podcast)

"Celebration of Circe Broom" is the performance at the Celebration last night in which countless of the most gifted performers I know did ten-minute sets to remember and celebrate her life.  It was an honor to be in their company and it was one of the most extraordinary evenings of my life.

Many thanks to everyone, particularly Leira Vaughan and Amy Ferguson who did an incredible amount of work to organize and coordinate the performances.  The evening went as close to flawlessly as one could ever hope as there was a tremendous love and everyone there wanted it to work.  It almost brings tears again this morning thinking of how wonderful everyone was and what a beautiful thing it was to see again people I have known for many years but had not seen in a long time.

My set is at the Ride the Dragon podcast and, as always, you can listen for free and download it from iTunes via subscription to the podcast.  I hope you feel the love as the evening was tearful but magical. I understand the entire evening was recorded and all performers donated their sets as a gift to Circe Broom's family so they can possibly release a CD.
