Sometimes an article can be dedicated to a single YouTube video since a good one will be packed with deep magic and for today's example I'll go with a Yogi Bear cartoon.
The object of the first part is to copy the HTML from YouTube which lets you embed the video in Ithaka so you will go to the YouTube screen to find the Share button on it.
Hopefully you see the dim text for SHARE on the bottom right. I find I sometimes have to click that three times to get the panel I want:
This pop-up will appear and you only need to click the EMBED button to get yet another display:
When you click COPY at the bottom right, you will get a confirmation message at the bottom left side of the YouTube window. It will appear for a few seconds to tell you if it worked. If you don't see it, there will be no harm in clicking it again until you do see it.
The result of that is you will wind up with something like the following in your clipboard. Note: don't click it since it's only here for the example.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/k5AwcMWb1Ns" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
As you see, that doesn't do anything on the compose window so you need to click the HTML tab Next to the Compose tab at the top of the Ithaka edit window.
Unknown if you're familiar with HTML but you don't have to screw around with it much. Your best best is to past the embedding HTML at the bottom of any existing text and then click the Compose tab to switch back to this window to see what it looks like.
That's an excerpt from the bottom of the HTML window after I have pasted the embedding HTML on the first empty line at the bottom.
Which gives this result:

Screwing around with the formatting can be a bit awkward but that can be solved with a bit of patience since it may take a few tries to get it the way you like. For me, invariably the easiest is as I demonstrated in pasting the HTML to the lowest part of the blog and then flipped back to the COMPOSE window.
This should get you set for wreaking a bit of havoc with video and have a ball with it.
Note: the embedding is strictly virtual which means if the video poofs on YouTube then it will poof here as well and the display of it in Ithaka will change to a greyed-out microphone. It's that or something similar and it's obvious to spot when you display your article's page. It won't break the page and make it impossible to display but you will get that odd view of the video.
