I won't normally present photographs of protests or any type of conflict ... but ... when they protest bullfighting, I'm in. I have been to a bullfight, many years ago ... and I have never wanted to go to another of those abhorrent bloodbaths.

Maybe you can figure out the costume but good luck figuring out the instrument. It appears to have two strings and is played with a bow over a most unusual soundbox.

The infant elephant couldn't possibly have grown that much in a single day so somehow mother delivered it without it turning into a scene from "Alien" in which the baby explodes forth and it doesn't go so well for the mother.

They had something of a party in New York last night. The photograph looks heavily-tricked but the result is almost like something by Norman Rockwell with maybe a touch of Leroy Nieman
Note: after bringing you a baby elephant, no chance I'll leave out fireworks.
