There has been determination to drug test everyone on welfare but, to my knowledge, no-one has ever tested positive when this has been done and that was in Florida, somewhere else, and most recently in, I think, Michigan, possibly others as well. The purpose has nothing to do with detecting drugs but rather it's to show domination and ownership. We can do this because this welfare is a gift and fuck you, we own you. Submit.
Note: I don't take welfare or any of those types of benefits from the state. I didn't even collect unemployment when I got out of the Army and I never have in my life. They can drug test all they like but they won't get me that way and they won't make a slave out of me; it's better to starve. For me that's easy since I do not have any children. Now they regard the VA as another entitlement program and want to privatize that too so they can turn veterans into just another profit center garnered from people who can't possibly pay it.

Hardly anyone is thinking through to the unmitigated suffering which will come from killing entitlement programs and letting Trump win is a way of calling the GOP's bluff.

So Trump canceled the new Air Force One order and that was supposed to be a big deal. Trump also said he would cut taxes on the rich so what difference is it supposed to make if it's canceled. It's just showmanship and he's got no intention of paying the freight anyway. I want to see a cancelation which isn't bullshit. For example, canceling the B-21 multi-billion-dollar boondoggle would be a good start.
Verisimilitude is not reality but rather the appearance of it and we've seen how easy it is to gull the American public that way when both parties did it. That's hardly surprising when both parties are largely the same anyway. Clinton tried to do it but never achieved more than coming off as self-entitled nouveau rich bitch posing as a human. That convinced about a quarter of Americans but see above about verisimilitude since reality looks different to everyone and sleight of hand is just a trick.
Bernie Sanders is not the same and he tried to restore the values of the Democratic Party but we saw how Clinton played the politics rather than the rhetoric and stole the game. The electoral system in America is one of the worst in the world, largely due to the matter of states rights and the Electoral College (i.e. same thing).
Although I revel in embracing the anarchy, that's just showmanship too. There are children I want to see grow up to have the opportunity to make the same stupid mistakes I did, although hopefully they saw mine and will make different ones.
Cadillac Man has hope Trump won't fuck it up despite all evidence of him making a disaster even worse. Some think America does just fine but that doesn't wash too well when half the country has given up on it. The chance of Trump provoking a physical revolution is higher than I have ever seen because people fail altogether to realize just how bad it is because they can't see it and don't look.
My view on Trump has not changed insofar as so long as we're not radioactive, as we would have been with Clinton and Obama has been provoking, then we have some kind of a chance of fixing it after they're gone. Whether that's by revolution or peaceful evolution is entirely up to the Republicans.
