Video Plan Just Poofed

The primary camera won't take a charge to the battery but it's not clear if the battery or the charger is failing.  The camera should be able to run on wall power if the battery dies but it doesn't.  However, it does get power in some magical way to drive the camera long enough to say 'change the battery pack.'  That display shows the battery is dead so where does the power originate if the charger is busted.

This is not a financial crisis although being grandiloquent with the funding is past prime.  The fix is thirty dollars for a battery and a power adapter but they're after-market products and most ratings were good but some were furious.

Since I had to do it anyway, nothing can possibly sweeten a deal better than Lyle's Golden Syrup.

You won't believe the golden goodness this imparts to your toast and only eight bucks.

Send that too (larfs).

There is the alternate tripod video cam and that one is ready and willing but a one-camera shoot is so boring.  It's hardly even worth waking Final Cut for that.  The head cam probably has a dead battery but that's fixable.  There's no good way to use it since there's nothing to stabilize it if I'm not wearing it.

This shoot is dead for the moment but thirty bucks will get this fixed and in order which seems to be the general order of things of late.  That plus the syrup are quite good and I remember Lyle's from when I was a kid in Sydney.  Yevette has a bit of a sweet tooth and Lyle's Golden Syrup will knock her right out.

Mystery Lady, you might like it as an alternative to honey and you can probably find it at Jungle Jim's Circus.  I actually prefer it to honey.

I'm kind of pissed over the wave-off but that will be ameliorated with Skyline Chili and watching the female version of "Ghostbusters" which I find more enjoyable than the original.  That should restore the balance in the Universe.

It must be kid thinking in my memory of it. We shall see what Yevette thinks of it!
