Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 50 Flight Engineer Peggy Whitson of NASA sent holiday greetings and festive imagery from the cupola on Dec. 18.
I'm not sure what I would pack if I were going to space but I doubt Christmas socks would have been on the list. It's cool to see she has fun with them.
We don't ever hear of the astronauts getting any NASA vino for special occasions like Christmas dinner and that's a shame since who doesn't want to hear a bunch of drunkie astronauts singing Christmas songs.
