The Gunners Stole Yesterday ... But ... They Can't Have This One

There's one thing good guys with guns have in common with bad guys with guns and that is none of them will be admitted into the Sanctuary.  There are no weapons here and, amazingly enough, there are no shootings.  Maybe we could get an analysis from Rachel Maddow but her Hollywood indignation ends up in such an annoying voice.

In fact, we won't let pedants into Sanctuary either because, frankly, we're not surprised when people want to shoot them.  You know them, they're the ones who constantly lecture on Facebook or other with smarmy crap like 'did you know America has more guns than anywhere else in the world?'

Yah, li'l sugar muffin, amazingly enough other people read too.

In fact, we're more inclined to keep them out than the gunners because some of the gunners are farmers and people who hunt for need rather than amusement.  Most of the gunners are useless cowards but those farmers and the like are ok.

For Sanctuary, we rely strongly on the Ron White maxim:  you can't fix stupid.  If someone is carrying a gun, good chance the person has no balls, no brain, or neither of the above.

The segue from the Gabriel's horn riff in downtown Fort Worth to the first phrase in "The Sanctuary Song" loop was under active study yesterday (i.e. playing some stuff to find how it flows) and it's not correct to say this got derailed by the shootings yesterday but rather I permitted it to be derailed.  That was my error and not anyone else's so it's on me to get things back onto the tracks and here it goes.

Yevette has been awake all night and I only just got up, largely because guilt eats me since it's time to feed the animals.  The cats are so vicious to each other I get concerned they will decide to eat one of the others.  It hasn't happened yet ... but I haven't missed on getting up to feed them either so I can't say I really know for sure it won't.

So that vampire / non-vamp cycle is nothing new and it only means silence until later in the day after Yevette is awake again.

Tonight still looks like the best time to shoot the porch scene and the resolve at this time is to take the smoke machine out there with one set of LEDs which is not connected to the light rack.  I use that one for fill light so it's easily portable.

Something I noticed just now is the temperate is low at 36F but the wind speed is only 2 mph.  The sun is only just rising and the early morning, except for temperature, could work.  It would likely show cats all over the place but they usually don't make much noise after they have got some chow.
