America's determination to effect regime change in the world is not police work but rather imperialist bullying and has been the single biggest drain on the American economy and consequently the burden on the national debt in the last fifty+ years.
Hillary Clinton's failure to back away from the policy of regime change in Syria makes her equally dangerous with any of the GOP candidates since this policy has been catastrophic since the first incident in modern times in which it was tried. When Salvador Allende was murdered in Chile in 1961 under supervision of the CIA and Henry Kissinger, he was replaced by Pinochet and thus began his reign of terror.
At the same time, America was tried to effect regime change (i.e. install democracy) in Vietnam and that resulted in yet another catastrophe with fifty-five thousand dead Americans and an enormous number wounded and devastated by it.
The current example in the Middle East has been a continuous catastrophe which has achieved no useful end of any kind and has cost well over a trillion dollars. In all of the countries in the Middle East in which the US has interfered, the countries are now unstable and rife with bombings and other chaos.
The policy of regime change is largely an extension of the ancient policy of Manifest Destiny in which the rich white people of America had the divine right to do whatever they wanted with the country. That resulted in the decimation of the native population.
America now believes it still has some divine right to interfere in other sovereign nations and justifies that by calling it police work. Judging by the thousand and ninety-five American citizens killed by cops this year, police work is not even close to a recommendation and it's not true anyway. The policy is nothing more than blind imperialism and, even worse, it has never worked.
The massive expansion of the military has burdened America with crippling debt and it's accomplished nothing in all that time. America has made a blazing lie of the commitment by NATO not to move any more to the East to threaten Russia and is well on the way to destabilizing all of Europe with that policy. NATO serves no useful purpose in current times beyond setting up a marketplace for selling American weapons.
Some have said it is important to elect any Democrat simply because of the potential replacement for multiple Supreme Court judges during the next administration. However, that compromise is not an acceptable reason to engage Clinton because of the wanton destructiveness of her foreign policy which makes her equally dangerous to any of the GOP candidates.
