Living with the Worst of the American Health Care System @BernieSanders

Some don't understand the depth of the situation when there is no medical insurance.  Bernie Sanders is the only one I have heard who has the faintest idea of it.  The others either don't know or don't care.

While I have the right to use the Veterans Administration hospitals and clinics, it still takes three months to get an appointment.  I do have an appointment scheduled for three months but that does me no good now.

At age sixty-five I also have MEDICARE but it's absolutely useless because my income is so low from Social Security I cannot afford the co-pays for doctors.

Unknown if the Affordable Care Act even applies but it wouldn't make any difference.  It makes up the offset in premiums to insurance companies through tax breaks, as I understand it, but that's irrelevant when I don't have enough income to pay any taxes.

Bernie Sanders is the only one with an unbiased view of the American medical system and is the only one who offers anything substantive toward repairing it.  He stated the case specifically in the Democratic Debate so I know without question he sees it and knows what to do about it.

Sanders was dead honest when he said Wall Street won't love him.  The fact is Wall Street doesn't love anyone, it's not supposed to love anyone.  It needs to be clear the taxation of speculation on Wall Street is strictly in terms of the high-volume, fast turnover profiteers rather than standard investors who, for example, buy Apple stock with the intention of keeping it for retirement or other such appropriate investment purpose.  Profiteers are not investors, they are rapists and Sanders has his eye clearly upon them.

My purpose is specifically not whining and that for many reasons but the most salient to the point is it's been so many years I'm accustomed to it.  The most important for you to understand is I'm far from the only one in this situation and there are many in much worse shape.  I would do more about medical attention if there were any way to do it and meanwhile I am meticulous about things I am eating, drinking to build strength back up again.  I am sucking up pediatric electrolytes and protein drinks like I actually enjoy that horrible crap.

I knew I was sick when I left Greece and we didn't say anything about it but I think Lotho knew it.  The need to see a doctor was what prompted the ride to Scotland and I seriously underestimated what it would take to do it so there's no chance whatsoever I would have made it without his help and also that of an anonymous angelic person.

The plan was I would get to Scotland and the National Health Service might work for medical care.  Unfortunately, it's as rigged but not as badly as the American system and at least it doesn't cost as much.  That went nowhere and there were tactical complications because I could not risk someone stealing the Galaxy Guitar and there were strong reasons for never leaving her unprotected because the security on the flat was so full of holes.

Making it to Germany was impossible because I knew I did not have enough income to survive there so the only option was bailing out to Texas where I am now.  Lotho and the Queen Bee rescued me and that's what got me here.

There are a million other stories in the Naked City and I'm only one of them.  That's how I got to the current circumstance and there's no possible way of changing it.  If you think this is whining then you miss the point altogether.  It makes no sense whatsoever to whine when millions are in the same or worse situation.

There is no doubt in my mind Bernie Sanders is the only one with the intention or the ability to do anything about the problem of American medical health care.  All the others scream about cost to the government while continuing to endorse an insurance system which takes for itself over 50% of every medical dollar sent to it.  Even the worst kind of socialist administration would be overthrown for that kind of incompetence and egregious piracy in blackmailing the health of the American people.
