Pistorius Gets the O.J. Verdict ... Sort of

The Pistorius ruling seems the most farcical ever but nothing is going to top the scene in which O.J. was trying on the gloves for his trial.  He always sucked in front of a camera but that was an Oscar performance.

I'm not sure that it matters.  Warren Anderson, CEO for Union Carbide, croaked through negligence around sixty thousand people in Bhopal, India.  He was charged and found guilty in India but the U.S. didn't permit extradition and they made it illegal for the people of Bhopal to sue the U.S.  It's much the same as what happened in Uruguay after Texaco raped the place but not so many dead people.

In my view, Pistorius is nothing more than a pissant distraction from anything important.  That there is no law is self-evident.

The Judge did have some kind words for him as she said, "Don't worry, honey.  The cell won't seem so small what with you having no legs and don't you worry about creepy burglar boogey men in the toilet at night as your cell is the toilet and the creepy burglar boogey man is you.  Sure would be a drag if someone shot you thinking you were someone else, huh.  Have a nice day, Sports God."
