Reis and Aldo Opera Premieres in Paris on October 9

Reis and Aldo returned to Cat's Art MusikCircus last night after being away in Paris for the summer.  The performance was excellent but there is much bigger news.

For perhaps a year they have been working on their opera and making frequent trips to Paris from Italy to record and do whatever preparations have been needed.  They will play again at the MusikCircus next Tuesday but will return to Paris after that as then there will be about three weeks remaining.

On October 9 in Paris, Reis and Aldo will premiere their opera and they have extended an open invitation to join them.  Medora Chevalier is confirmed to be going from England and I believe JaNa KyoMoon will be going as well.  She also comes from England and she is the one who has worked extensively with Cyndi Lauper.

There is nothing I can tell you about the content of the opera beyond what I've already written of their enormous talents.  This takes those talents to a level I have not heard before from them and it should be an astonishing performance.  I would definitely attend if I could as the idea of an opera with progressive music could lead to just about anything but definitely nothing you ever heard before.
