Three thousand innocent deaders in New York resulted in somewhere around a million innocent deaders in Iraq. Thus, one innocent dead American is worth about three hundred and thirty three dead innocent people of any nationality. As we saw, it really doesn't matter what nationality as the Iraqis had nothing to do with the original basis for killing as many people as possible.
That the only purpose is to kill a lot of people is clear from Afghanistan in which there was no tactical strike to go after bin Laden but instead they wasted the entire country. There are two reasons as there is a Russian gas pipeline and, as we have seen in Ukraine, the White House lusts after Russian gas more than a hooker in a crack mine. The second is that it puts another pseudo-NATO basis on the southern flank of Russia.
Ten years later they remembered, weren't we supposed to be doing something here and that's when they croaked bin Laden.
ISIS has shortened a couple of US reporters so that should mean three hundred and thirty three dead innocent people somewhere else. Reporters are not innocent as they're just mouthpieces for the state so they're not worth as much as real people who really are innocent but they are still American so you can do whatever you like if they're killed ... except go after the ones who really did it.
And there lies the flaw in the current Iraqi policy. In getting what is ostensibly the right place, it's a radical change from the Bush policy ... therefore it couldn't possibly be the right thing to do so why does the GOP support it.
Tip: I don't care why the GOP supports it. They could come up with an argument to waste Grandma Moses and they would tell you Jesus said they should do it.
