Three long-eared owl chicks at a wildlife sanctuary

There are some optical challenges at the Rockhouse, most of which are corrected by reading glasses, but we are not able to discern any kind of ears on these owls, much less long ones.
Large ears are a matter of family pride at the Rockhouse since mine can turn back an Atlantic hurricane and send it crying for its mother. Witness the glory of genetics ... praise be (larfs).
The Rockhouse submits you will not find any other ears like that outside a zoo and (cough) especially not in the owl cage.
