When nothing makes sense and it usually doesn't, music will and they're just playing for tips on the street.  This does, in fact, generate the kinetic energy which makes the Earth spin.  That's why the Moon doesn't: no music.  All you need is some hip hop on the lunar surface and it'll spin.
