Governor Rick Snyder is one of the most evil bastards in America today as he did nothing about the problem with lead poisoning in Flint, Michigan, and there is documented science which shows substantive decreases to IQ for people who are exposed. Snyder did, in fact, damage the people of Flint for life with his neglect but now that pitiful, miserable swine tries to turn that into a political stunt to make Trump look like a hero. A deal between the state of Michigan, the city of Flint, several Flint-based pastors, and the American Civil Liberties Union, has resulted in the state paying $87 million to replace lead-tainted pipelines with galvanized steel pipes.
The state of Michigan will provide Flint up to $87 million to upgrade water pipes and set up water bottle distribution centers so that residents can have clean drinking water under the terms of the settlement proposed on Monday.

Trump didn't do anything and the reality is Flint had to sue that penurious pigdog before he would lift a finger, so great is his hatred and contempt for his people. We can easily see Trump shares that hatred and contempt by the way he has done effectively the same poisoning as Snyder by killing environmental restrictions which ensure clean water and air in America.
People are getting frothy and hysterical about Trump but he won't destroy America; he will only make it smell worse, a whole lot worse. He's already made such a joke out of the country that the world doesn't know if Trump is playing politics or vaudeville. Just imagine him with a top hat and a cane; you would never be able to get him off the stage without the hook.
The state will also be required to reserve another $10 million of federal funds in case repairs are more expensive than expected. In addition, the state will be responsible for appointing a third party to monitor the lead levels of 100 homes for at least three years. Michigan will also expand Community Outreach and Resident Education programs in order to provide education, installation, and expansion of water filters.
Those involved in the litigation cannot comment on the matter until after the deal is formally accepted.
