Horizontal Timetables of History Located

There's high Rockhouse confidence this is the same book I had previously although a newer edition.  It presents history back to the time we were guppies and there's a horizontal cross reference around the world for each point in time.

Available at Amazon:  The Timetables of History: A Horizontal Linkage of People and Events

Note:  I get no comp from them for that.  It's not my purpose.

This one is the best I ever had for a perspective on one thing along with whatever was happening at the same time on the other side of the world.  That may sound as dull as an unsalted potato chip but you might be surprised.

It's an outstanding buzz book because you can pop it open anywhere and find what was happening in Europe when the Mayans had their biggest time or whatever twisted combinations you like.  There's a hmmm, I didn't know that, just about anywhere in the book.

The interest in the book isn't as trivial as it may seem since it gives tremendous illustrations of how humans moved about physically and culturally around the world and I don't have to cross-reference anything because it's already there in the way horizontal scale is presented.

Five stars and the book cost about twenty bucks for this month's big blowout as I decided to forego the neon sunglasses even though they would have looked cool with the purple felt fedora.
