Guest - Cadillac Man wrote an excellent comment so I transcribed it to this article.  As with any transcription on Itaka, the text was brought over verbatim.

Gross - there has been quite the effort to repaint Castro as the worst thing ever to happen to the Americas but read the WIKI for objectivity on the matter since you won't find it in the press, not that you would expect to find much of anything there

NASA - announces a launch on 12/9 which followed a launch elsewhere today and others every few days for a while now (most were not NASA)

What If - Peapod is an excellent supermarket delivery service in the Northeast and it's screaming to be robotized or rather I scream for them

Researchers - some weird science about Queen Nefetari or at least part of her

Lewis Black - people on the news today are the last ones to speak of freedom when they're so committed to fake news and, besides, Breitbart (i.e. clone) is in Trump's Cabinet.  When Lewis Black talks on the matter, he brings the best and Dick Gregory gives an extraordinary performance.

Campanology - it's the study of bell making and the changes needed to work through a sequence on the bells.  That got me started on reading and it's fascinating material.  That triggered memories of bell making in Laughing Gecko so that was highly cool.

Build that swamp - Alec Baldwin has much cooler in "Hunt for Red October" but the bit is funny and Trump went berserk over it, making it even funnier

The Army - this was the rejection of the easement permitting abuse of the Sioux tribal lands but the tribe is not standing down because the Dakota Pipeline outfit said they will not change their course.

A Bridge - who knows gardens better than Monet and there's a reason his work is germane just now
