CNN cries out in disingenuous horror at how the aggressors will once again threat truth, justice and the American way ... as if anything Russia does could ever threaten that more seriously than the American medical insurance racket.
There has been constant provocation of Russia by America in putting more and more advanced aircraft onto existing NATO bases and pushing for the creation of more of them. There was the promise after the Berlin Wall came down the European Union would not push NATO one more inch to the East toward Russia. America and the EU have made that statement a lie multiple times and then have fallen back like misunderstood virgins as they proclaim they do not understand what raised tensions.
Stephen Potter wrote a book about 'brinksmanship' or pushing things to the edge of the breaking point for fun or profit. We assume America is doing it for profit now with Ukraine although the profit in it is not clear. America never embarks on anything unless corporate America will profit from it but the mechanism for the profit is not clear.
There was some indication of the profit when Joe Biden's son was installed as lawyer / director for a major component of Ukraine's natural gas industry. Trying to take a piece of the profit from the natural gas production of the region and its sales to the European Union would definitely be of the scale to interest corporate America. It's another example of Democrats behaving like Republicans but there hasn't been a real Democrat in America in many years and rich Democrats rarely behave any better than rich Republicans.
CNN's overt propaganda in deliberately escalating tensions when there is no reason for it makes them nothing more than the tool of the government for spreading FUD (i.e. Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt).
