When Formula One is Not Exciting Enough for You

This might seem like the most ludicrous thing one could ever do with a motor vehicle but Jim Clark drove a Lotus Cortina down a bobsled run so there's a clear precedent.

There's some twisted beauty in this because the scream of that F1 engine in the almost total silence of  snow in the mountains must make the most extraordinary echoes.   How they ever even got it started at that altitude is your guess.

Humans love cognitive dissonance, that sensation we get when 'this cannot be fucking happening.'  It's like seeing Donald Trump in the White House when the reaction comes you don't know whether to laugh, cry, or throw donuts.

(Ed:  do you seriously liken that tub of lard to F1?)

No way, Ghost of Ayrton Senna.  We liken situations in which something obviously impossible happens right in front of you.  Many times that situation sucks ... but ... then you see a Formula One car on a skier's downhill run.  Well ...

And they consider it extreme when they (cough) skydive with a skateboard.  On snow, this car could whack a hundred people before it ever even thought about slowing down.

We do believe Hunter Thompson would approve.  This is definitely king hell crazy.
