You Can't Blame Anti-Vaxx Stupidity on Beverly Hills Hoppity Hipsters Anymore

The CGBs (i.e. Conservative Gutter Brains) have latched onto the anti-vaccination campaign faster than a tick can bore into your flesh to suck your blood and, oh, God, it makes me so proud ... Texas is leading the way by making it law.  (CNN:  Texas lawmakers spar over 'anti-vaccine measure')

When it comes to legislation in the country, there's stupid; there's imbecilic; there's Texas.  This is why we love states rights so much since it allows each state to be as Neanderthal as their evolution permits and Texas revels in it.

Debate about a bill before the Texas House about improving care for foster children quickly broke down into a heated argument about vaccinations on Wednesday, with one of the state's most conservative lawmakers saying vaccines weren't important for public health.

There's no need to assault you with the rest of the rubbish in the article since Texas legislators do to law that which Formosan termites do to New Orleans.

In the last month, there were at least two outbreaks of measles and one of mumps but unknown if others.  The anti-vaxxers are an active threat to the health of the rest of us and consequently they represent a clear and present danger to all of us.

Ed:  does that make it OK to shoot them and call it self-defense?

It's ok to do that in Texas over a parking ticket, mate.  You're not from around here are yewwww?

Meanwhile, the rest of the story.

Phsy.org:  Americans divided on whether recent science protests will benefit scientists' causes

We love the naivete of the snowflakes since you can see science all over the place on Ithaka and ...

Ed:  they don't read it?

Sometimes but mostly not.  Show me the hot babes, muchacho.  (Ithaka:  Remember Gonzo Journalism? Nicola Crosley Does Something Else with My First Orgy)

Ed:  are you resentful of that?

Nooooo, mate; I think it's hilarious and I have fun inciting it but I laugh until I cry when I hear people whining about science.  I'll know when people start taking it seriously but right now it's about the same as driving and they suck at that as well.  (Ithaka:  They're Saying You Are the Problem with Electric Cars - Science)

Ed:  you don't give people much credit!

The facts speak for themselves about science, mate.  (ZDNet:  9 out of 10 Americans don't fact-check information they read on social media)

Much of the protest isn't about science; they just like parades.
