Then We Went to the "Cabaret"

Liza Minnelli maybe never looked so beautiful as when she played in "Cabaret" and there's not likely a man in the planet who wouldn't follow her home after seeing those big doe-like eyes.

All together, mates:

I'll do anything at all you want, just don't cry.

Although I have never seen "Cabaret" previously, I couldn't stay with it, mostly because it was so beautiful and I didn't so much feel the darkness of pre-war Berlin.  The idea of decadence in the sixties, at least in film, was relatively tame relative to modern so the film didn't nail me but Liza Minnelli did.

Note:  I'll need to write a letter to the robot since she just ain't happenin' anymore.  (Blog:  Whether "Lolita" Elicits More Prurient Interest than a Robot)

So what if I'm a fickle bastard as the robot in "Ex Machina" threw over the human she seduced and then abandoned him to leave him to die.  Never trust a fookin' robot.

Now look at those eyes.  Even if she's lyin', we don't care.

I rest my case.
