After being invited to 'consider suicide,' it was clear this is a day for movies and not for online because we need simplistic unidimensional thinking as much as we need a resident woodpecker in the Rockhouse.
The first thought was to go full trivial with Mad Max and Thunderdome but the only interesting question of it is whether Tina Turner can carry the movie by herself. I rolled with it for a while but the operative word has been disgusting so there's Tina Turner balanced with disgusting and that comes to a bad deal and screw the wheel.
The movie with a five star recommendation from Cat is "Death Becomes Her" because she said it is laughing out loud funny. I didn't watch it yet and mostly I did nothin'. Too many negative waves in this day so I just crashed.
And, just because we love you, here's a recipe for baking your own Greek bread. (Food.com: Psomi - Greek Bread)
Not precisely in the interest of doing nothin', I told Cat I thought it might be swell to play on the eighteenth and she thought that was a peach of an idea for all kinds of kozmikal reasons. That's now on but unscheduled and I will confirm when the week starts so it can post to the schedule.
The idea of YouTube Live came up but I decided bag it since that got immediately technical and I just want to play while Cat just wants to listen ... and no short stories in-between songs, if you please.
The general thinking is to use video but only for set-and-forget as in kicking off recording for some cams at the start of the set and then ignoring them until it's finished. Lasers are pointless for an online show so the resulting video would be something Tinkerbell can watch.
"The End of the World in Fort Worth" has to be in it as that's the Magnum Opus and there are multiple of my tracks on the laptop which can be spun up in a flash. That should be content enough to back a show fitting to how I would like to do it. All of the recording is my own stuff except sometimes a guest drummer so that fits to what's lawful in the eyes of the Great God Mescalito.
Evolution at this end of the elephant takes place in technique more than in structure but that's always worthy of the time anyway.
This looks like it will happen. More to come.
It's Cat's birthday and it has a zero in it. Those ones always need to be special so step it up, cowboy.
I played a set once before from lefty's place in England for Cat's birthday and that was hopelessly kozmikal. lefty Unplugged plays the set before mine on the eighteenth so that's almost the same vibe only four (three?) years later.

Happy Birthday Cat!!
Best Wishes, ML
When you get the chance, check out the movies "Stranger Than Paradise" and "Everything is Illuminated".
You may already know of them, if not, I think you'd like them. Aloha
ML, thanks on her behalf but it's not quite yet and comes on the 18th. It's cool you say something.
Heya, Laughing Gecko. Thanks for those tips as I'm really hitting the rocks with sci-fi lately.
It's great to see you're in the game. I realize sometimes I must miss comments from you since they're automatically approved. If that's happened, sorry about that.
The automatic approval says it all!
Wow, this one surprised me too. You have admin authority and maybe I should remove it because that change means I will have to approve comments but at least I'll know when they're written.
