The Pointlessness of Seeing

Through open-mindedness comes the admission of hideous poisons from those who refuse to see, are too afraid to see, are not capable of seeing.  Such people are death to the music insofar as their thoughts are so hostile to humanity they actively disable or degrade any thought toward it.

We have seen from Kannafoot the open-mindedness which is possible from a reasoned opposition and, here on the Socialist Left, we are hungry for that but never more of the blind obstinacy of those who seek to prevent reasoned opposition.

The thing most clear through Fox News and its provocation of extremists is just how easy it was for Hitler to subjugate Germany and the ease with which that can be accomplished anywhere.

Frankly, we're not all that respectful of how the GOP has stood up to those within its ranks who seek to destroy it.

We have seen from Larry Wilmore the egregious way in which Fox News has inculcated a violent rage regarding Planned Parenthood and baby parts yet absolves itself of any responsibility for the consequences of anything which comes from it.  (Salon:  Larry Wilmore’s gutsiest moment yet: Pins Planned Parenthood shooter’s hate squarely on Fox News)

We have seen David Cameron accusing Jeremy Corbyn of being a 'terrorist sympathizer' and likely I'm perceived the same way by those non-discerning enough to understand the difference.  Cameron does know the difference and he's using one of the standard tools of such people in dealing with opposition:  kill it.

That kind of thing does to my music the same as their actions do to the world, they strangle it and prevent almost any chance of going forward.

There is little I can do about poison from leadership but there is no reason to accept it from people online.  Those who actively promulgate it have been blocked but there is a middle echelon which sits in tacit support of racism, indiscriminate violence, and guns simply because they think it's cool to have one.  The evil from those can be prevented, at least in my world, so it's incumbent on me to do that because I'm coming to realize how much their poisonous thinking goes beyond their simple statements and how much it damages minute-to-minute existence.
