Sunshine Day Dream Wall Of Fame
Neener, neener, Ted Nugent.
My friend on Facebook, Ron Bizzle, sent me this earlier and it was cool since I didn't know of it. I've played at Sunshine many, many times going back years so it's touching to see this. It had to have been Grateful Stryker who did it since he's been a friend, fellow musician, and fellow Godin xtSA MIDI guitar owner since the earliest days in SL.
Zen Yogi: does this tell me what a great musician you are?
Nah, Yogi, but it does tell you I have some swell friends.
Grateful Stryker is a unique character and he had an ecstatic time with the voices one can create with the Godin xtSA. He delighted in using them in his gigs since you can get these guitars sounding like no-one ever heard guitars sound before.
It was unusual with me in using the Godin xtSA since I may have even inspired him to get one of his own since these guitars are extremely rare in public play. I found I shifted back to the native play of the axe since I love the sensuality of the ebony of the fingerboard and the sound which came from Godin's customized Humbuckers.
I don't know of anyone else in Second Life who ever played such instruments so here's a Rockhouse hat tip, Grateful Stryker.
Ron Bizzle did more to record SL musical history than anyone else I ever heard of trying. The legacy he left on YouTube for SL may even contain more than two thousand videos. I can proudly tell you I'm one of those he recorded but I won't get too big-headed since has has tried assiduously to film every musical performer in Second Life.
Zen Yogi: somebody told me he is crazy, Silas
All the best people are, Yogi. Something I know for sure is he has been incredibly generous with his time so here's another Rockhouse hat tip.
