Deep Sickness of Management of Facebook Live Revealed in Leaked Docs

Without whistleblowers, we would not likely ever get truth about anything and that's how we come to know of Facebook's twisted workings.

Amongst the hundreds of files reportedly seen by The Guardian are guidelines for dealing with self-harm that show how the company will allow users to livestream attempts to self harm because it “doesn’t want to censor or punish people in distress who are attempting suicide.”

“Experts have told us what’s best for these people’s safety is to let them livestream as long as they are engaging with viewers,” one of the documents reportedly explains. “Removing self-harm content from the site may hinder users’ ability to get real-world help from their real-life communities.”

Facebook not only allows the vile content but rationalizes it's better for the people who create it to leave it there.  That lot has gone into a world of electrodimentia you don't ever want to know.

Here's another beauty of phase-shifting morality.

Because of the risk of suicide “contagion” – the copycat effect where some people who see suicide are more likely to consider suicide themselves – moderators are instructed to “delete all videos depicting suicide unless they are newsworthy, even when these videos are shared by someone other than the victim to raise awareness.”

If the suicide is still worth money then leave it online.

Say there, Marky Mark, how about bestiality.  Is some of that ok with the right species since we need to be sure.

Is that funny with a frog
but sick with a sheep
you can allow this shit
but how can you still sleep
and we don't need an answer
since we already know
your place in the woods
is nowhere we should go
