I Want to Kill those Traitors, those Commie-Loving Bastards

A group of Texas A&M students has gone to North Korea on an exchange program to teach them techniques for improving their agricultural processes.

Ed:  see what I mean about those Commie-loving bastards!

According to report, there are many North Koreans who are starving and these kids want to help.

Ed:  they're traitors!

Traitors to what?  They certainly haven't betrayed humanity although it sounds like you wouldn't mind a shot at it.

Note:  Yevette told me about the news story and she didn't want to cite it on Twitter because the source was Yahoo.  Even so, the story is probably authentic since what point in making up such a thing.

Hold the phone on that since here's a different reference from KUT 90.5, NPR in Austin:  Why Texas A&M Is Teaming Up With a North Korean University

Although evangelical Christianity is hardly my favorite thing, it would be false to fail to present an extension to the story.

Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, which was founded and is mainly funded by American evangelical Christians, will receive donated teaching materials from the Aggies.

A man with food in his belly is far less likely to fight than one who doesn't and nothing will stop a man from fighting when his babies are hungry.

This is a huge case for a country that spends money on weapons and ignores the people it pretends to protect.
If the bogus leader wasnr suffering from presidential little weiner syndrome he might actually take care of his people.
These kids want to do right but it may get lost in the political infighting on both sides of the ocean they need to cross

I'm rooting for the kids and Yevette was proud since these ones come from Texas. When even heretics such as myself laud what they do, maybe they have a chance to really get it done.
