Mystery Lady, It's Been a Long One

When you were talking this week-end, medical matters came up but not mine.  That changed on Monday with two words:  Surgery.  Wednesday.

That happened today with an early start but there's no bad news to report.  In fact, the news is remarkably good but even a tiny part of it would inappropriate to present here.

Although it will sound like it now, none of this has been from my perspective.  Now that things settle, I can look at it and think, whoa, that was strange.

It wasn't entirely unexpected at some point but the statement on Monday was be there for surgery on Wednesday and that kind of thing is always good for some head-spinning WTF.  I was pitching that for anything which will likely suck, it's best to get it out of the way quickly and, what do you know, that happened and damn fast.

The situation has been an ongoing bitch for some while with a whole lot of unstable coming from not knowing what's happening except something is definitely wrong.  All of that has been in the background so the vibe is kind of rainbows and bluebirds now with the report of feeling it's much better already.

It's not the instant gratification success of a lottery ticket but it's highly damn good.

Things could get fractious so there was some substantial stretching of diplomatic skills but now sunbeams.  I feel like yodeling!

Well, no, I don't feel like yodeling but this would be a time to yodel if I ever did.

There's another who has been involved with this and I'm sorry about the clandestine feel to this but I know it's how people want it.  This other person has done a great deal to help and enjoyed a large measure of fractious so there's a major hat tip going that way.

The general point is the vibe is surprisingly good even when the age regularly gives up situations with doctors saying, "Yep, you're fucked.  Can't fix this one."

In this case, it does seem to be fixed so right away there's a reason for at least shooting off some bottle rockets.

Down here at the Rockhouse, we know why it's important to get healthy and fatten ourselves up as much as possible.

It would be so much more than ok!

The post-surg days are a bit rough but next week gives a bit of time and the stitches are the kind which don't need to be removed so there should be uninterrupted improvement. That was sure a rocket ride, tho. On Monday the doctor says to it and now we're just barely into Friday but it has settled down quite a bit.
