"It's Really Just a Cabbage Race"

We love to roll our cabbages,
watch them bumping down the hill
there isn't too much sport in it
and it's not much of a thrill

but it's a lot of fun for the cabbages
as they bob and weave and bounce
to find their way on down the hill
before the Veggies pounce

but they have a tough time finding them
those cabbages don't roll straight lines
they're light inside at the center
and are weighted to one side

so you never know which way they roll

and we can't guess which path they stroll

but there's a blessing for us all
even the poorest in the group
since when they will stop rolling
we will boil them and make our soup
