If you're going to kill yourself anyway, watch "Terms of Endearment," "Titanic," and "Jackie" first to give yourself a real reason.
Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy fights through grief and trauma to regain her faith, console her children, and define her husband's historic legacy.
Apparently "Jackie" covers the six days from the assassination forward. For those alive in that time, they were some of the worst days ever and yet someone decided that story is just the thing for watching while you eat movie house popcorn.

Oh joy, it's another Christian wax job.
Something I did not regard as a 'Christian wax job' was "The Passion of the Christ" and I understand there was theological contentiousness over how it was portrayed but it had a reality no movie with Charlton Heston could ever achieve. The movie was brutal and of course it would be but that didn't change any perspective in me when I already regarded the Crucifixion is one of the most brutish things humans ever did.
It wasn't something I classified as an Important Movie but it was worthwhile seeing it.
If you want suffering, how about going with Mary Lincoln's story from the night of Honest Abe's assassination for her next six days. She not only lost her old man but most of her kids so let's get down and feel that pain with her and, um, pass the popcorn, would you. Did she regain her faith and why would you care one way or the other.
You find strength through your trials or you die and it works exactly the same for men or women. Faith has little to do with that although it may have some bearing on keeping you out of such trials in the first place.
There may be a saving grace for the movie in its music composed by Mica Levi as she is one seriously-twisted musician. (IMDb: Mica Levi)
