Welcome to the Brokered GOP Convention

The only result of the GOP show last night was the guarantee of a brokered GOP convention because of the relentless incompetence of the GOP Presidential candidates.  There's not one of them with the faintest hint of seminal vision or innovative thought and the entire party languishes in their political malaise.

The GOP candidates' wild posturing makes for better television than a cop forensics show but you only have to be breathing to do that.  When they're even talking of trying to refuel the loser from the last Presidential contest, the GOP is about as desperate as I've ever seen it.

The unfortunate aspect of the GOP incompetence is it makes even Hillary Clinton look good.  Otherwise, what appeal would there possibly be in some old frump who's only a surrogate for her husband but isn't particularly good at it.  She has a bunch of superficial neo-femmes gulled into thinking she represents them but that isn't surprising when Jessica Valenti speaks for them and Taylor Swift is some kind of plastic role model.

All remain dismissive of Bernie Sanders but he's still the only honest one in the field since he hasn't taken a dime for corporate sponsors.  All the others, if presented like NASCAR, would be covered head to foot in commercial endorsements.

There's no wimbly, wambly, wombly wavering here at the Rockhouse:

-  The endless warring without foreseeable goals or tangible definitions for victory is one of the most destructive forces in the world.  We want the military police of the America and corporate policy of weapons manufacturers to be based on reason rather than avarice and greed, something which hasn't been even close to true since WWII.

-  We want guaranteed education including post-high school education / training in a university or vocational school.  When America can blow a trillion dollars on the F-35 fighter program which still doesn't work, we're not interested in arguments America cannot afford it.

-  We want guaranteed medical cover for everyone in the country.  Again we are not interested in arguments regarding affordability because America has been turning out new aircraft carriers, submarines, and multiple other Navy vessels for over seventy years and there hasn't been one yet which was rejected due to problems with affordability.

These positions have not changed at any time in my life and they definitely won't change now when I'm living the consequences of a failed medical system, failed insurance system, etc and I see only one candidate standing up for addressing those major problems in any significant way:  Bernie Sanders.
