I'm Telling You the Truth ... Honestly.

Whenever John Kerry's face comes onto the news there's only one appropriate response:  turn it off.  Of all the spineless yes men in Washington, he gets the prize.

He is also singularly lacking in imagination as, after the intelligence gathered regarding Iraq, why would there be any reason to trust the intelligence gathering community again ... ever.  Short answer:  none

It may be important to know that FDR could not save America's economy or those that were also floundering as a result of the Great Depression via spending on his Public Works program.  However, he simply couldn't spend enough money to get the economies started again.  What got the world economies going again was the spending on World War II and this is what elevated the US to being one of the world's great powers.  That it has abused that trust mightily is only another example of the corruption of absolute power.

Consider now why Pentagon generals are proposing the idea that a tactical nuclear war is survivable. These lightweight shills just serve to promote the agenda for the rich as no-one gets a bigger bang out of a war than they and the rich never ever go to fight.

Saving the economy through nuclear carnage.  Ingenious.
