Dashing off like that was harsh but you know why it was necessary. You felt apologetic for expressing the pain you feel and I get apologetic as well for causing it but apologies aren't necessary in this stage of life since I know your heart implicitly just as you know mine. The call did not upset but rather it made happiness which went both ways.
This would be better personalized within a card but it's nearly impossible to get one myself and I can't ask Yevette since how can anyone select such a card for someone else with just the right sensitivity in it. Yevette is not at all lacking in sensitivity but one needs the simpatico to know the right one.
My own pain I know well and I'm acutely aware of the pain it causes in the others with the greater the love meaning the greater the pain. That's specifically why I don't want to emphasize it in a #Blotto when things get nasty on a day to day basis. If it relates to a final cattle call then it's informational but otherwise it's not and can be deeply hurtful.
I still have not seen "Remains of the Day" in which a great love comes to the same situation and I'm not sure if it would be helpful for anyone since you know already there's a price exacted for the deepest love and it's commensurate to the depth so it hurts tremendously. However, that hurt relates to the loss of the object of the love while the love itself remains immortal. I have no idea if that was in the movie but in my world it's paramount with you.
I don't believe for a moment God prevented you from coming here to enable visiting by anyone else because I don't believe God is a prick. I'm not interested in the Hebrew God but that shouldn't matter since you're a Christian and Jesus was the first one. I'm not aware of anything Jesus did which showed him to be a prick. Part of the reverence for him is he did nothing whatever to deserve his fate and he was a true martyr. It was the Hebrew God which whacked him so I don't need that one.
Sometimes there is amusement about Heaven in terms of what one does there but you won't find anything to deny it exists. You will easily find denial that Hell exists because I simply don't believe it. I also don't believe Jesus would be prickish enough to keep me out of Heaven since, wtf, there's nowhere else to put me.
I won't say anything conciliatory simply because it may bring comfort or how can you believe anything I say. My answer for whether Heaven exists is simple with how should I know. If I find it does exist then I'm confident we will see each other because, again, I don't believe Jesus is a prick and we know that from his life. Should I wake up in Heaven, trust in your faith I will see you and welcome you.
You can take this one to a bank but I wouldn't when they're so demonic but I'm neither an atheist nor an agnostic because that kind of pragmatism doesn't answer anything for me. Life, the Universe, and Everything is more of a mystery than atheism can handle, notwithstanding Stephen Hawking's wild rambling about proving there is no God with physics.
Sometimes people need Jesus to explain how things like Hurricane Irma or Ebola can happen but he's not responsible since he didn't do it. For this I need you to fully accept the science in terms evolution since that gives the full explanation for Ebola. It's similar in acceptance of the science of climatology since we induced climate change or at least increased it and that's why there's another headbanger hurricane coming right after Irma and he's Jake or some such.
A great deal of spiritual confusion comes when bad things happen to good people since why should a baby die but you know already some are damaged in the factory and science explains that too in the context of congenital defects. That may not seem to explain why a family of good people gets whacked on the way home from church but you know that one as well since some selfish drunkie did it. As with the Affluenza kid, he just wasn't raised right.
Jesus didn't do any of that and neither did Satan since Hell is an artificial construct simply for absolution of Jesus from such horrible things but the science doesn't need Satan for an answer. Jesus can't possibly protect us from every evil thing since many are self-inflicted such as war. Bad things will come to many, many people from wars but some mythical Satan has nothing to do with that since the ones who start the wars own it.
Our beliefs are much more concordant with each other than antagonistic. I can't tell you Heaven definitely exists but I do believe anything is possible and always have.
Zen Yogi: is this all about Dream Big, It Just Might Happen?
It has everything to do with that, Yogi.
Zen Yogi: I thought you didn't care about Heaven, Silas?
I didn't but it makes a difference when I know someone needs me to be there.
Zen Yogi: doesn't that make you a hypocrite?
I don't believe so since my beliefs haven't changed but hopefully I've grown better able to express and elucidate them. One thing which hasn't changed for anyone is that all you need is love.
