Keeping Up Would Serve America Much Better than Fighting Down

This is a train which looks like it should start in Cape Canaveral.


Beijing is developing a new generation of trains capable of reaching 400 kilometers per hour, China Daily reported. The high-speed trains will be part of the so-called Belt and Road Initiative to boost economic ties with other countries.

"We will apply new materials in the research and production of the future high-speed trains, such as carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, which will help to reduce weight and enhance energy efficiency,” said Qiao Feng, a senior engineer at the CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles, a subsidiary of China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation.

The Rockhouse is fed-up to the choking gills with excuses for America's failure to keep up with this technology while it simultaneously cranks out aircraft carriers for two billion a pop.  You keep up with technology or you get consumed by it and America has been throwing it off with more casual abandon than a cheerleader on the Champs d'Elysee.

Pop quiz:  who makes the chips for yer computers?

America invents computer technology and then gives it away so would you say America's engagement in the game is or is not more than a practical joke.

This country needs to get its shit together in a fast fucking way.  China can afford these trains because it isn't pissing half the tax gold down the drain with the military and then burning what's left in Iraq in yet another of the Pentagon's contrived little wars.
