There's so much darkness out in space
until we come down here
where we can't hear their speeches
and we're far beyond their fears
We have no need of Earthlings
and will not see them again
We'll try our luck with other worlds
to find some real friends
There's one place they will never go
with their bunji bodgie bravado
and that's where it takes real courage
not just a joy ride in the clear
They cry so much for safety
and then throw it all away
to some sniveling poof
in an expensive suit
who does it just for pay
