Alan --
This election cycle has been unlike any other in our history as a nation. We find ourselves divided, and many of us have been insulted, marginalized, and threatened. It has left many members of our communities isolated and in fear. This must end.
When we stand together and say that the time has come to move forward - to talk about solutions rather than operating from a place of fear - we will begin to make the change our country so desperately needs.
That's why tens of thousands of progressives are gathering on Saturday for a massive march in Washington, D.C., and hundreds of Sister Marches across the world. Together we'll march for justice, equality, and against Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric.
Together, we will stand up for everyone -- especially those most vulnerable among us. Our brothers and sisters who are immigrants of all statuses, Muslims and those of diverse religious faiths, people who identify as LGBTQIA, Native people, Black and Brown people, people with disabilities, survivors of sexual assault, and all members of marginalized groups must know that we stand with them no matter the circumstance, and no matter the consequences. An injury to one is an injury to all, and our movement will fight to ensure the safety of all.
As the organizers of the marches have said, "[w]e stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us."
Thank you for being a part of the fight for justice and equality. There are many important issues and campaigns we will tackle together in the coming years, and we cannot accomplish them divided.
In solidarity,
The team at Our Revolution
