Samantha Power Kills a Boy Says He was Only Worth $1700

The Foreign Service did not try to kill the kid but, just like the British Foreign Service before them, no-one gains life from the presence of the American Foreign Service and more likely people will lose it.  In this case, her motorcade ran over a boy in Cameroon, killing him.  (CNN:  U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power's motorcade hits, kills boy in Cameroon)

Here's the attempt at face-saving which is the typical facile crap we see from shallow-ass Foreign Service flunkies:

The diplomat said she and other U.S. and Cameroonian officials visited the boy's family following the accident to "offer our profound condolences and to express our grief and heartbreak over what the family is going through."  (CNN)

That might even seem real but let's see how sorry she really was.

It turns out Ms Power was only sorry for about enough as she spends on her selfie budget at $1700 for a dead kid in Cameroon.  (Newsweek:  CAMEROON: U.S. COMPENSATES FAMILY OF BOY KILLED BY SAMANTHA POWER’S MOTORCADE)

Toussem’s family has been given 1 million Central African francs ($1,700) by the U.S., AP reported.  The Cameroonian government, aid organizations in the region and the United Nations also contributed 5 million francs ($8,500), meaning the family received more than $10,000 in total.  The U.S. compensation package also included two cows, as well as hundreds of kilograms of flour, onions, rice, salt, sugar, and cartons of soap and oil.

What do you know, Ms Power may not be able to afford a designer haircut this month.  The US could easily have given the family one more cow:  just leave Samantha Power over there.  Definitely leave her as she didn't even feel enough about killing the kid to match the other contributions of support and it was her incompetent and arrogant crew which killed him.
