Nobody Knows Time's Person of the Year

Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Egyptian army chief, has been elected Person of the Year in the annual poll by Time Magazine.  This would be good if anyone had any idea why he was elected.  Time said it was because Egypt cast the most votes followed India and then the United States in third.  Apparently they do it something like the way "American Idol" works to see who did the best cover of a BeeGees song.

So, for everyone who hasn't been in a coma for the last year, Edward Snowden and Glenn Greenwald were the People of the Year with an Honorable Mention for Chelsea nee Bradley Manning.

That Time dodged anything regarding Snowden or Greenwald will go down as some of the most cowardly journalism in recent times.  There's no subjectivism regarding these men as what they did and the impact of those things are objective facts.

RT has had nothing to say as I suppose it's bad form to trash another news channel but Time has it coming.  Those sissyboys really made a mess out of this.
