No Word on the Galaxy Guitar

There had been some hope of seeing the Return of the Galaxy Guitar by the end of the week ... but then there was The Great Texas Blizzard of 2013 and hope of that was dashed.  I'm pretty sure Lamb's Music is open on Saturdays but I don't think the chances are high of hearing anything today.

It's ok as this is a news offering, not a lament.  I'm happy she's in the hands of the Fort Worth Guitar Doctor and she's been needing that kind of attention for some while.  I'm not worried about her getting fixed as I know the Guitar Doctor is very well-qualified to do it.  The regulars may remember me talking about taking her to the Guitar Doctor before I ever got back here.  It was the change to the strings that made it immediate.

So, that's the latest.  There's was at least a centimetre of snow on the ground and, God, It's Still There.  We are probably all going to die, most likely as victims of people forced to cannibalism by the harsh conditions, but all is at peace.  Yes, it's cold in Texas but now the state has a reason to burn books rather than just burning them for the fun of it.

In case you have never seen the Galaxy Guitar, here's a picture of her from her Grecian Period.

She liked it in Greece.  The air was warm, the people were wonderful, and the bread.  She really loved the bread.

What you can't tell from the picture is that she has little crystals all over her face and they twinkle whenever light catches them when she moves.  She also shoots lasers from her head but any good woman can do that.

Here's the Galaxy Guitar shooting lasers out of her head:

When she gets like that, son, you should have come home a LONG time ago.
