The Crowns of Thorns Starfish eats coral reefs as fast as Washington politicians eat the forward-looking spirit of the people of the world.
This organism may well have single-handedly done more damage to coral reefs than climate change since that's been bleaching and destroying the reefs as well.
There are various thoughts on how to control these malignant creatures but so far there is no evidence it's working.
However, the Rockhouse has one tiny question. When the Crown of Thorns Starfish is so destructive to coral reefs now, how does it happen the reefs came to exist in the first place.
Ed: the Crown of Thorns Starfish must be new
It does seem so, mate.
Ed: the Japanese B&W monster movies were right that the nuclear testing in the Pacific resulted in wild mutations in surrounding creatures and the Crown of Thorns Starfish was one type of creature which was affected. Prior to that it had been a good doobie which only ate the surfers which sank to the bottom.
The timing on the nuclear tests makes sense since we heard nothing of the problem of these creatures until after that time.
Ed: there you have it then. The Crown of Thorns Starfish is one more consequence of the wildly-irresponsible weapons testing programs used by the Pentagon.
Irresponsible really doesn't quite contain it when the Pentagon ordered hundreds of soldiers to witness nuclear explosions from relatively close range although those saints of satanism did give those soldiers sunglasses. Unknown what percentage of them wound up with cancer but the criminal calumny of the Pentagon would cover it up if possible.
