We Can Tangle with States Rights Tomorrow

Y'all know the Rules of the Rockhouse when we talk in which there's no biting, scratching, or gouging the eyes.  This is not a social network.

Lotho has stated his belief in states rights and fair enough.  He's the only one with a stated position other than myself who is firmly supportive of the Fed.  Cadillac Man knows the history of that philosophy down to every last thumbtack and he's the definite resource, hopefully with some ideas on it as well.

The Mystery Lady hasn't been spotted recently and that always leaves a sinking feeling.  There's another situation with a friend here who has gone AWOL and the concern is the same.  When the radio silence gets extended the uh oh feeling grows.  There's another who is not really AWOL but difficult to find.  I don't mean this but maybe loneliness is better a little bit because at least there's not much worry in it.

Today was a day for music and the real stuff rather than the only ones we could find.  I guess the other team was singing about pickup trucks or some such but we don't care.

It was astounding to see the result of the boycott since there was just no talent left.  I knew Republicans were not particularly creative in that way but that showed us they aren't musically creative at all and in a relatively-dramatic way.  I was surprised it was that bad.

So that wasn't much interesting and the objective was to find the real thing which did turn out to be a total gas.  I'm not stoned as it's not at all required to play, I just like it.  There wasn't any plan to play as I just wanted to hear some slammin' but that just makes me want to do it too so off we went.

One thing which doesn't mean much of anything is the What's Hot list since so many things get skipped and some because people are afraid to look at them.  You know how to play that game since you get into a Cessna and jump out of the damn thing to show, ha, I can face my fears.  That made the fear of heights even worse because then I knew I would jump but at least I knew I could get past that ultimate with the Cessna as did Cadillac Man and so did Tinkerbell.

Jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft is like riding a Harley.  It's too late to think about that when you're sitting on the porch.  Some of you don't want to do either one but the specifics aren't the point. It's getting up and doing it that matters.

Lotho knows the game in his own way since it doesn't seem to fret him to take a bike up to 160 mph and, more importantly, he doesn't drop it while he's up there.  That number wasn't metric and it translates to 257 kph.  Fark.

My speed was 130 mph and that was it.  Seeing Lotho running at 160 mph doesn't make me want to compete because you make your own limitations and a man has to know what his are but you can't possibly ever know unless you try it.

There's one speed question which has bugged me for ages but not enough to ask.  Do you think there was any way to get out of the speed wobble which took me down on I-71.  I tried slowing down and no sausages that way.  A friend had said you can power out of a speed wobble and I did try it but maybe I was too late by then and went down anyway.

The Sportster would start teasing about a wobble when it was running at 80+ mph and that speed isn't too impressive but it was relatively mannerly about it by signaling with a little vibration and backing off would settle that.

So no good answer and the question still stands.  I guess that goes to a five-point toss-up question.
