Despite what you may think about why Russians come to Ithaka, the most recent visitor from Moscow went to this one: Carol Kirkwood Gives Best Weather Report of All Time. Maybe you worry about Carol Kirkwood giving away national secrets but you would be the first ever to wonder about that. She's one of the sweetest women ever or at least plays one on TV and, hence, the parody. I don't know who wrote it.
There's not much beef to this one since fear of Russians is highly ludicrous from the outset. Obama has been promoting that aggressively but it doesn't appear you want to hear criticism of him too much. Obama still enjoys strong support from some subset of minorities but it's not clear why when he never did anything for civil rights, quite the opposite in fact after he so heavily-militarized the cops. There are two pieces no-one can or should take from his legacy since the Obamas were the living role models for a "Father Knows Best" type of stable and successful black family and because he showed every kid in America that he or she could look up at Dad and say 'someday I may be President.'
We have lost no respect for the office of the Presidency but we have lost immense respect for those who go to the White House but do not bring the same respect with them. Likely you can immediately rattle off a list of Presidents for whom you have no respect so there's no need to itemize anything and you know I can do it with full annotation or at least the regulars know that. In the current context, we don't need it.
Russia Today is said to be spewing propaganda in every direction but our observation from the Rockhouse is they provide the most accurate and informative news of any news vendor currently extant. Liberal news outlets were killing themselves just as fast as liberal comedians in the last year or so and all did it the same way through heavy bias toward someone who wasn't even a liberal.
Russia Today also has the hardest-working staff since they even cover news many events others don't carry and suppressing news in that way by the others is a form of propaganda but RT doesn't do it. We don't feel defensive for Russia Today but rather for America where they could have truth if only they open their eyes to receive it.

Here at the Rockhouse, we have learned we mustn't trust politicians without multiple confirmations, multiple witnesses, and at least one blood sample. We don't believe a word from them unless there's reason. I've got the time and I study the material a lot. The result of information is inevitably enlightenment rather than delusion.

I really don't trust them either but I trust that news service more. It reports on when corrupt Russian bankers / industrialists get busted and Russia puts them in jail while America puts them in the White House.
