About the Ithaka Propaganda Factory

There's some question about the legitimacy of the sources I use for Ithaka and really only one of them regarding Russia Today.  While it was suggested I treat anything from RT as Gospel, I don't even treat Gospel as Gospel so I'd like to leave that aspect behind.

However, there is propaganda, to some extent, insofar as I don't cover so much the negatives since there's so much caterwauling from the Q-libs (i.e. abbreviation for 'quondam liberals' / new Democrats) that putting anything approaching truth on such things is pointless.

CNN and Fox are reviewed periodically but they're extremely polarized and not particularly useful when there is so much of a slant and they move to entirely useless when CNN has been actively promoting this golden shower bullshit from the back pages of Penthouse magazine.  I can't take them seriously and they give me no reason.  Fox has been doing somewhat better but they have such a heavy pro-cop / pro-military bias they still aren't particularly useful.  I'm not interested in what they like; I want to hear what they know and I absolutely do NOT want opinions from they or CNN.

The Trump Wall is mixed since we have noted previously how heroin comes across that border like it's a colander.  How much a wall would actually affect that is anyone's guess but that's a gigantic problem to solve and I hear few going to the source of it (i.e. taking out the poppy fields in Afghanistan and Mexico).

The wall gets funny too, tho, since Lithuania said it will build a wall to defend against Russian aggressors and Russia told them they will supply the bricks if they like.  (RT: ‘We’ll supply bricks,’ Russia tells Lithuania on plans to build ‘anti-aggressor’ fence at border)

Trump's stand-off with China over Taiwan is just about as blindly stupid as he could get since it's exactly the same thing Obama has been doing with nuclear brinksmanship.  Backing off on such brinksmanship with Russia won't make a whole lot of difference if he fails to do that with China.

Although it hasn't been directly mentioned, Tibet won't be released from China either but that's no-one's business other than for Tibetans and Chinese.  As always, the CIA probably interferes with it to try to foment some kind of revolution because, after all, they have a better idea.  However, on inspection of the CIA's documented history, they have never had a better idea.

The hostility toward China is particularly misplaced since it was America's intention from the outset to break the American labor unions.  China sucked up many of the jobs which came from that and now the same CEOs who sent the jobs over there are irate that it happened.  From that we conclude these CEOs couldn't find their butts with a road map.

Those CEOs have also lost tremendous respect in America, due to their wildly-avaricious ways primarily.  After Marissa Mayer was paid tens of millions to run Yahoo into the ground, she should have been accountable.  (RT:  Trust in CEOs plunges to all-time low)

Trump has also demanded of Germany that they buy American cars and the not at all surprising response from Germany was America should build better ones.  It's not been so long since we were talking about the coolness of Mercs so whether they really are better really doesn't make all that much difference since the talk probably presages import taxes and the cost of a new Merc will likely zoom.

It hasn't congealed yet but Trump has suggested he will disrupt relations with Iran and that plays directly to one of his worst plans which is moving the embassy in Israel to Jerusalem to help Israel wipe out Palestine altogether.  Israeli imperialism won't stop there and they're already bombing Damascus.  Why that should be important to them when there really isn't a large number of Jews in the world is unfathomable.

Note:  more Jews live in America than in Israel.

These misguided intentions don't differ all that much from Obama and that's why the continued insistence there's only one party in the country with the only difference is one likes slightly better music; apart from that they're indistinguishable.

It isn't music when some country clown sings about how much he loves America since that only elicits contempt or pity because his loves are so limited.  I bet you love your truck too, don't you, Jethro.

Whether that constitutes propaganda is your call but I omitted them because these things are so much the same as Obama's obsessions and Clinton was never obsessed with anything except money.
