Some Food Intake Actually Worked

The nutritional intake has been abysmal and naturally since anything going in would most likely come back up.  Milk helped quite a bit with that but it also caused problems.  I'm allowing a glass a day and there seems to be little punishment for it.  With the doctor appt blown and likely months before I can get another one, there's no alternative except figure it out myself.

The situation is not so good as it parallels the congestion and I suppose it's not possible to spit it all out although I do try.  Yesterday I managed a Vegemite sandwich and that was it.  That situation is not uncommon and it's why I strongly suspect lack of nutrition is why these surgical sites won't heal.  One of them is the specific reason I can't play since the guitar strap goes right over it and playing sitting down has never done it for me.  The spatial relationships aren't right and it's prone to error, for me.

That still leaves room for keys but that's prone to abrasion and these bitches hurt.  Aggravating them further is just stupid so there is relative silence for now.  I'm not sure Cat is so appreciative of silence even though she definitely understands well the message from John Cage.  I love it that I hear a dull sound of fans in the house, the distant trains when they come through Fort Worth at night, Toby the Dog crying for his lost pack when he hears sirens, as all these things make a tapestry for me.  I know silence is anathema to many people but they may be surprised at how much is actually in it but you need to take the time to start absorbing it.

Real silence will drive people nuts and that's shown in an anechoic chamber in which people typically last fifteen or twenty minutes before they have to escape.  Even so, it would be an extraordinary thing to experience.  Probably everyone goes into it thinks, oh yeah, I can handle it but I don't believe there's been one yet.

As with the rest of this, the approach is as systematic as possible and Pepsi has been heavily reduced for that reason.  7-Up is adequate for a bit of sweet and some bubbles and it's often recommended for stomach troubles.  Water doesn't get it because, well, fish fuck in it.

Some success just now is redeeming as I don't want to offload the problem onto Mystery Lady but some knowledgeable advice is welcome.  I understand with protein drinks and using those kinds of  drinks with success implies lactose intolerance but I don't currently want to believe that.  Screwing with milk in any way is just heresy in my view.  It's one of the best results from domesticating animals and insulting it with some whizkid's idea of a 'better way' is just appalling.  For me it's whole milk or it's just milk Kool-Aid.

Nevertheless, the protein is vital but that crap is also expensive.  Ain't it a bitch (larfs).

Some talk of empty calories in soda but it's rubbish as calories are all the same, regardless of the source.  The emptiness is the lack of anything else since soda only supplies sugar, caffeine, and bubbles.  Diet soda is not a solution since I've never seen anyone but fatbodies drinking it and the stuff sure as hell didn't do anything good for them.

My ol' Mother had a tremendous problem with weight and she worked so hard to fight it with some exercise kit in the basement and consuming no soda other than that vile Tab.  Soda is not the problem and and it's an equally-vile illusion to present reducing it as a solution to anything except stomach troubles sometimes.

Note:  I have heard of a country doctor prescribing Coca Cola to cure a child's case of colic.  Unknown if it works but it was presented that way.  Jason Robards was the doctor so will you tell me he was lying?  I seriously doubt it.
