American Tough Guys Will Get Their Chance

Once Obama successfully provokes a war with Russia, it will take millions to fight him and, drat, there aren't that many in the military.  You're going too, Ten Tons of Beefcake, and you better be more capable than playing cowboys and Indians with that AK47 with your gay ass pals because you will go head-to-head with professionals and they will go through like you're thin-sliced turkey as, quite obviously, you are.

Have a nice a day warriors and, well, kiss yer chicken poser butts good-bye.

My attitude is 100% P.C. because every word of it is from Probably Croaked so I seriously don't give a fuck if you get yourself killed with your imperialism, you will deserve it for failing to recognize through all history that's what always comes to imperialists.  Success is temporary and failure is forever.

Perhaps as a fun-loving tourist, you may enjoy visiting the death camps in Germany and Poland and perhaps you have enough liberation from American dogma to understand the Russians liberated Auschwitz and I believe Treblinka as well.  Putin sees with 20/20 vision what the West is capable of doing and he has the wisdom to understand it's not limited to Germany and it's unlikely to originate in Germany ever again.  Starting that from America in the current climate would be effortless.

Americans typically don't have the courage to face that responsibility and Donald Trump deliberately exacerbates it.  I have no doubt it would be child's play to start death camps in America.  To some extent Texas has already started in how they brutalize Mexicans in for-pay prisons, five of them.

You may not believe it but Putin knows it and should Obama fire so much as a cap gun at him, he will fall in front of a greater onslaught than his tiny mind can possibly imagine.  Hitler faced it and his troops were slaughtered with no reason to show them mercy nor give them any quarter.

You can try the same if you wish and the only question is, 'Do you feel lucky?  Well, do you, punk?'

I think this might be a little bit ovdrblown to Russia's WWII might.
I think Hitlers ego and a weather from Fall on was the downfall.
Even though the Germans were outnumbered 250% and Hilter was again believed he could fight a three pronged attack across the entire border. They still were only a skip and and jump from Moscow when the rains came that stopped the Panzers progress followed by an early winter.
One could easily argue that had it been a normal season Russia would have fallen.
Raven and Cadillac Man will be abke to speak to this far more. As I only took classes and they have a passion

I think the Chinese saying would apply here When lions fight neither wins

Chinese are exactly right on it and, wtf, their rationale goes back 10,000 years. Going back that far, I expect to find dinosaurs. (Whoops, I just realized some do - larfs)

I'm not so sure about overdriven as Russia lost millions of soldiers in that war, so much so there was a major dent in the demographic for marriageable males. When they gear up for the kill shot, there doesn't appear to be anything on the planet which can withstand them.

No question of American contribution to WWII but it's well-publicized and, in fact, almost daily on Brit TV (seriously).

The main point is it was a war on two primary fronts and it was savage on both sides but, if asked who it cost the most, I'm handing that one to Russia. I believe objectively and if only because the German Army came direct to Russian cities so their soldiers and their citizens lost an unimaginable amount of blood.

The observation about weather is a fair one and then the future hangs on simple strategy. Ultimately it did since many of the German soldiers froze to death. That human history depended on a weather forecast is so Vonnegut but the truth of it seems obvious.

Had the Allies faced the full force of the German Army on home ground, I seriously question whether the outcome would have been the same.

Stalin signed a non aggression pact with Hitler in 1939. Hitler agreed not to invade Russia. Stalin agreed to divide Poland. Stalin was not prepared for a full onslaught from the Nazis and the non aggression pact gave him 10 years to build military power. He recognized Germany's military strength and saw this as a buffer to allow Russia to build up its military strength.

Stalin was stunned when Hitler quickly took Poland. The Russians were not prepared for Hitler's invasion. The Russians did benefit from an unusually cold winter that slowed down the Germans. This completely destroyed Hitler's plan to conquer Russia quickly and avoid a two front war. Had it not been for the cold winter, it is likely the Russians would have lost to the Germans. They did lose the to the Japanese in a war between the two countries in 1905.

The Russians benefited from the war on the Western Front starting to turn in favor of the Allies. The United States provided fresh troops and equipment that were badly needed. Germany was forced to place the majority of its attention on the battles on the Western Front. During the last years of the war Russia was able to conquer much of the ground it did because the Germans were concentrating almost solely on the Western Front.

Ultimately, unlike Japan, it was not necessary to use the atomic bomb to defeat Germany. Hitler had lost the respect of the military and the people. This was not the case with the Japanese that continued to fight even after the first atomic bomb was dropped.

As to today and Russia's military power vs the U.S. there is an excellent article comparing military strength in MiliaryTimes from October, 2015. http://www.militarytimes.com/story/military/2015/10/05/us-russia-vladimir-putin-syria-ukraine-american-military-plans/73147344/ .
The article compares defense spending (U.S. $560B to Russia $60B), troops (U.S. 1.35 million to Russia 875,000), aircraft (U.S. 3290 to Russia 1200) and aircraft carriers (U.S. 10 to Russia 1). It comes to the conclusion that Russia can only ensure military balance with its nuclear might(U.S 7100 warheads to Russia 7700).

The reality is we have managed to go over 80 years in the shadow of a weapon that equalizes military power. There has been and currently is a threat that the ultimate weapon of force may be used. Obama and Putin know well that there can be no winners in a WWIII.

I agree no question on the effect of the cold Winter and have seen enough to get an idea of how many German soldiers froze to death rather than being shot. It was such a colossal strategic blunder since I also agree on a warm field Russia would have been quickly defeated but that pause gave them time to build the war machine from their most western facilities and nothing would stop them after that.

Hitler at least had surprise for his attack but America doesn't even have that so Obama's childish games piss me off all the more for their blind stupidity. Any damn fool can see there's no win ... all except the fools in Washington.

As Lotho said, no-one wins when lions fight.

So I disagree with your original premise that dont fff with the bear on a National basis. I do have several Russian friends mostly from associating with the game of hockey. While I would rarely back down from physical confrontation even if I knew I was in for an a$$whopping. I would not mess with most of these guys as you would have to kill them to stop them

That seems all the more reason not to play any silly buggers on a national basis but I see no significant evidence he plans to go anywhere so I really don't know why anyone talks about killing anyone else (larfs).
